Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an actor'sworkshop in Los Angeles. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk is famous for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she received nominations from for the Gemini Awards. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk announced to the fans the joyous announcement that she became pregnant during the filming of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk is doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an extensive online presence using social media.
